Powerwash a Chromebook

If requested, follow these steps to powerwash (factory reset) a Chromebook:

Note: Make sure you know your WiFi password before performing these steps. You will need it later in the process.

Reboot or power on the device to reach the sign-in screen
Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R on the keyboard.
A prompt may appear requesting you restart the Chromebook. Press Restart.
A prompt will ask if you really want to powerwash your Chromebook. Press Powerwash, then press Powerwash again in the pop-up.
After a moment, the device will restart and show a welcome screen. Press Get Started.
Re-connect to WiFi, then wait for the device to re-enroll itself.

Note: The enterprise enrollment page shouldn't take more than 2 minutes. However, there is a bug in ChromeOS that can make it appear to last forever. If this happens, you can get out of it by pressing escape.

At this point, you should be back at the sign-in screen. Sign in and see if your problem has been resolved!
